First Time was released back in 2007 and made the top 40 in two countries and hit #27 in the US and hails from the album Who We Are. The song was written by frontman Jason Wade.
For rhythm you can play either a down up down up pattern or play a steady down stoke pattern. There is not lead in this one but the chord shapes are a bit odd, but I explain those in the full tutorial lesson.
