Fourteen Gears is another great song by Midland, found on their album "Let It Roll." This song is a perfect example of how the band mixes old-fashioned country music with a modern rock twist.
The talented trio of Mark Wystrach, Cameron Duddy, and Jess Carson wrote this song, and it's a good example of how Midland tells stories through their music. Even though it didn't become as popular as some of their other songs, it's still loved by their fans and shows the band's wide range of musical skills.

Longneck Way To Go was a song written by Rhett Akins and pitched to both Midland first and country artist Jon Pardi second.

The track was the 2nd single from their 2022 album The Last Resort: Greetings From album and peaked at #52 on the country charts. Jon Pardi went on to record a version of his one also and can be found on his 2022 album Mr. Saturday Night.
